Project Phases

Phase Complete

Project Kickoff

During this phase we will gather existing plans, studies, and demographics about the community. We will also create a base map that allows us to better understand the opportunities and constraints for the area.

Phase Complete

Public Engagement, Visioning, and Workshops

During this phase we will gather your input on the neighborhood, including standards you would like to see for new development (such as remodels, home additions, or new construction) and any other feedback or ideas you may have.

Phase in Progress
Current Phase

Development Standards Preparation

During this phase we will prepare a draft set of standards based on your input. This will be shared with the public for feedback / revisions.

Future Phase

Preferred Alternative Standards

After the public has once again weighed in, a preferred set of standards will be chosen.

Future Phase

CEQA / Environmental Technical Advisory

The design standards will go through the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) process to inform government decisionmakers and the public about the potential environmental effects of proposed activities and to prevent any significant, avoidable environmental damage.

Future Phase

Public Hearings

Finally, there will be a public hearing on the proposed standards before the County decides whether to adopt the new standards.
